Annual General Meeting of the IVM - Important please read
This European Training and Certification scheme was introduced to improve European competitiveness by establishing standards of performance and creating appropriate training programmes, so that competence in the application of VM methodologies was increased.
There are three levels of recognised certification
There are three stages to the VM training namely Module 1 (Foundation), Module 2 (Advanced 1) and Module 3 (Advanced 2). Usually the foundation course can be completed by either a 3-day Face to Face course or by an e-Learning course followed by a 1-day Face to Face session. The Advanced courses include 3-day Face to Face sessions.
The chart below shows the outline process to attain qualifications within the System
In addition to published written information and a help line, the IVM offers a list of ‘mentors’ who have agreed to guide candidates through the certification process and their professional development.
