In the summer of 2022, the APM Risk SIG, in conjunction with TU Delft (The Netherlands), carried out ground-breaking research into opportunity management as part of the overall project risk management process.
The findings of the research revealed a number of notable areas where, what is defined in the standards and written in text books, does not in fact match what happening. Put quite simply, few organisations do it, some have tried and failed, while others don’t believe in it. This conference will discuss the findings and explore the issues that have been unveiled.
